You've come to the right place for up to date information about internship, volunteer and job opportunities, as well as college application and scholarship deadlines, field trips, and events happening on campus. You'll also find posts on how to be as successful as possible when planning for your future!

At the bottom of this page you will find a google calendar with information about events, application deadlines, and program information. I find it easiest to navigate the calendar in "agenda" view, which you can switch it to by clicking the "agenda" tab in the upper right hand corner of the calendar.

In addition to the blog, we frequently send out emails with information that is then posted on the blog. Whether your a student, parents, or community member please feel free to join the list serve! You can do this by emailing me the message "add to list serve": macdanme@hsd401.org.

Native Youth Summer Enrichment Program @ BP


Just a quick note to make sure that you all know about the Native Youth Summer Enrichment Program hosted by The Native Wellness Team @ Highline Big Picture.

This summer we will have up to 12 students from our school and other schools in the district participating in a 5 week program. 9 – 12 grade students who identify as American Indian/Alaska Native will be on campus working on a mural project and participating in a variety of traditional and contemporary cultural activities.

If you have students you would like to refer to the program please let me know ASAP. There are brochures in the Native Wellness Office as well as the main office.

*Participating youth will be given ORCA cards to get to and from campus for the duration of the program.

If you are interested in volunteering to chaperone any of our awesome field trips, let me know.
