Advisors,
My
name is Michael Thunstrom and I have noticed that there is barely anyone from
our school, besides me, who volunteers or visits my internship site, the Nature
Consortium. The NC is always looking for new volunteers. I think it
would be great if other students would volunteer or try to intern there,
especially those who do not have an internship.
A
good intern for this site would be someone:
-
who is hard-working
-is
willing to get their hands dirty
-who
does not cuss a lot, is respectful
The
internship involves working in the woods, using tools to remove invasive plants
such as English Ivy and Himalayan Blackberry. The competencies used
heavily are communication, Social reasoning, and Empirical reasioning.
I
would be happy to talk with any student who is interested, they can stop by Mr.
Levine's room B7
